A male who was arrested by the team on 02/02/26 has been charged with 13 offences of shoplifting at Sainsburys Local on the Compton Road. The team will continue to patrol hot spot locations and continue to work in partnership with businesses to tackle shoplifting. ![]()
On 03/02/26 we were at Bantock House Cafe meeting local residents to discuss local issues and offering crime prevention advice. It was great to meet everyone. We hold these on a monthly basis and our next drop in is on 02/03/26 at 10:30am for an hour. ![]()

We have been experiencing a lot of complaints about parking. There seems to be a lot of parking on pavements which can cause issues for wheelchair users and pushchairs. Other issues are double parking, this could result in an emergency vehicle not being able to access an address. We have been advising drivers as much as we can. Please see the information below about parking safely and legally.
